Logic Supply
Industrial and Embedded Computers

Do you know which Vermont high tech company has more than 50,000 customers?

Logic Supply. They specialize in embedded industrial computers that can withstand extreme conditions including dust, heat, water and vibrations. Think about it, regular computers are all fine for use in an office, at home or in school, but they wouldn’t survive anywhere else. Countless industries and companies operate outside the calm of 4 walls, a floor and a ceiling.

Here’s a great video explaining what they do.

Even the NASA goes to Logic Supply for their Rover needs.

Founded in 2003, Logic Supply found a niche and haven’t looked back since. They maintain a nimble business model enabling quick decisions and turn around time for custom hardware. We especially like this company as they give back to Vermont in a variety of ways:

  • They support COTS
  • Sponsors of local Maker Spaces: Generator and Champlain College’s Maker Lab
  • Host/sponsor Girl Develop It and other local tech groups
  • Sponsor local robotics teams
  • Offer Tinkering workshops locally, which can be found here

Logic Supply is a Vermont company to be proud of and one to watch!

You can draw a picture of something, have it made into a CAD file and then have it printed into a 3D object. Hard to believe right? Well then check out this video.

This is game changing and seriously cool. Think of all the possibilities…

Anyone want to go to Poultney for the day, grab lunch and have your dream “thing” made into a reality?

Aquarius Life Science
epigenetics research lab

What turns genes on and off, and under what circumstances? That is what epigenetics is all about: how DNA is regulated by environmental factors. The new science of epigenetics reveals how the choices you make can change your genes — and those of your children.

Aquarius Corp. is a biotechnology company developing a DNA-based epigenetics assay for industry, academic and government researchers. The long-term goal is to validate the assay as a diagnostic tool for use in clinical fields such as oncology, endocrinology and infectious diseases.

Got that? for more information, Aquarius does a good job at explaining it here.and here.

We think this is very cool, cutting edge and it’s all happening right here in Burlington, Vermont! This is one to watch!

Want to learn more? come to their launch party on Jan 19th 4pm at Studio 3 at Spotlight On Dance, Inc.
